Rashi Mal: The energy from Kajol and Riddhi is infectious

For the past years, the public has known of Rashi Mal for her continuous works on web and TV. Currently, the actress has taken on the character of Riddhi Sen's girlfriend in their upcoming movie. In this film, audience will also meet Kajol as the lead character. During a recent interview, Rashi Mal shared about her experience working along with such talented stars, and how she finds her place between these talents.

In fact, the actress talks about her character in the film Nikita. She is playing the girlfriend of Vivaan, which is played by Riddhi Sen. Throughout the film, there are a lot of arguments between Vivaan and his mother - played by Kajol. During these situations, the girlfriend helps out with reasons. She plays an important role in diffusing the tension from the arguments. Due to her affection to both Vivaan and his mother, the girlfriend tries very hard in order to prevent any heated situations between them.

Rashi mentioned that the story is very heartwarming. During the tensions along the story, her character is actually the one who brings smiles to audiences. She offers some relief and waves of laughter, so the story does not get too heated.

Helicopter Eela tells a story about the relationship between the mother and the son.

In the story, Kajol plays a single mom who is too protective of her son, that she actually goes to his college with him. As expected, her appearance at his college has made the son feels suffocated. In fact, he started to feel like his life and privacy has been invaded.

Kajol has always been an iconic actress in Bollywood. At the same time, Riddhi has received the National Award. Helicopter Eela is directed by Pradeep Sarkar. Director Pradeep discovered Rashi even though she did not audition for the film officially. Rashi still can not forget the first time she met with Pradeep Sarkar. The actress was very nervous to finally meet the talented director, that her father said she actually looked very interesting.

She appreciates all the projects that she has collaborated with Pradeep Sarkar. In her opinion, Pradeep is a brilliant filmmaker, also a very nice person. Along his way to the top of success, Pradeep gives people chances to join him. He is among the few people who actually bring others along up the ladder.

Rashi started out being a choreographer, working from Ashley Lobo's academy for dancing.

She finished her engineer program in Mumbai, then she made her way into the theatre. It did not take long for Rashi to appear in ads, shows on both web and TV. Rashi shared that while acting is her main focus, she loves dancing and music is food to her soul. Each and every one of the three skills blend with the others. Hence, it is not so difficult for her to bring them together and along. In fact, she believes having many interests is very helpful. That would turn one into a well-rounded person, and eventually supports one's craft.

This year, at the Cannes Film, Rashi's film - Sir - has won some big prizes. Even though the film has not been released to the public.
