“Good Newwz” Worldwide Box Office: Akshay Kumar’s Film Crosses Rs 200 Crore To Make It High

Stepping over the expectations, “Good Newwz” has run on the flowy road to collect Rs 201.57 crore at the worldwide box office after a week of releasing.

After hitting the theatres on December 27^th, 2019, Good Newwz received a lot of praise and recommendations from every quarter. Experiencing as a directorial assistant of some films such as Kapoor & Sons, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania among many others, Raj Mehta had directed the ship of a hilarious comedy to the success harbor.

Completing the interesting storyline performed by talented Bollywood actors especially superstar Akshay Kumar, the film earned ultra-achievements with its box office collection within a week. This created magic when clashing with Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 right from the first release date.

As per a tweet by filmmaker Karan Johar, assuming the earnings from internationally, Good Newwz scored Rs 201.57 crore in total to the bank after only one week. Read Karan’s post on Twitter as below:

In the domestic market only, the film also reached a fever at the box office with the grossing of Rs 127.90 crore over the country. Counting to Thursday, Good Newwz won this figure and might deliver a higher runway in its collection for the second week while there will be no Bollywood or Hollywood hits releasing this time. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to update the movie’s grossing of the first week.

Featuring Akshay, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, Good Newwz also took some other important roles for Adil Hussain and Tisca Chopra. The flick is a funny story of two couples opting for an IVF clinic to have a baby. The things start doing the rounds when they get to know that the sperms have been exchanged to the other couple.
