Dia Mirza Opens Up About Her Divorce With Sahil Sangha

Dia Mirza spoke about the perspective of people in social circles post her divorce with Sahil Sangha.

The actress Dia Mirza and businessman Sahil Sangha had announced their separation last year. The couple were in a relationship for 11 years and were married for five years. The entire industry were shocked especially the fans. Dia Mirza was quick to clarify that the divorce was a mutual understanding between her and Sahil Sangha. Several rumours started doing rounds in the media circles which were controversial but Dia Mirza has now spoken about her divorce with a leading entertainment portal.

Dia said that its till amuses her that when she moves around in her Bollywood or social circles, people look at her with a sense of sadness. She believes that its because of sense of empathy towards her. She also feels that  not every time the looks are in a critical way. But it is more in an empathetic and pitiful way. The actress has been admired her and asked her how she can be so strong during tough times. People often ask her that how can she get up and go to work when her personal life is in a mess to which she answers that she will find her way and she hopes people will find theirs.

There are often beliefs that divorce is an excuse of not compromising with partners. To which she feels that in life a person has to adapt and compromise but at a certain extent. Its a personal choice as to how much could be more and what could be less. In one of her interviews, Dia Mirza had said that being a celebrity does not disallows her to ignore pain. She got strength from her parents' separation 34 years ago. She has been meditating for past 14 years in the morning and spends most of her time on the building garden.
