Deepika Padukone Didn't Inform Ranveer Singh About Her Joining "'83" Movie

Deepika Padukone is among the most sought after and influential actors of the B-town celluloid. In 2007, she first appeared in Om Shanti Om as a newcomer and after that, the actress went on to take over the industry with her beauty and talent.
Deepika is now one of the actresses to be paid the highest. Post appearing on the "Global Talent" issue, Vogue’s April Cover, she has again featured on Porter magazine’s cover.
In the Porter interview, she has exclusively opened up many undisclosed facts about the forthcoming film ’83, in which she joins as a pivotal character. For the uninitiated, she joined the film cast very late. But now, Deepika is the anticipated sports drama’s co-producer.
She has been cast to act alongside her hubby Ranveer Singh and she unveiled that she wasn’t the person to inform him about her being one of the movie cast.
The Padmaavat actress shared that filmmaker Kabir Khan was the one that informed Ranveer about her joining in the film. She said,
She also said that the ’83 movie attracted her as she aspired to deliver the story of Deepika also says that she was drawn to the movie because she wanted to tell the narrative of "the sacrifices that a wife or family need to make to enable [an] athlete to achieve his goals" to the audience.
As Prakash Padukone, her father used to be a skilled badminton player, she said she has experienced the same when she was still with her parents.
Apart from ’83, the actress is also preparing for Meghna Gulzar directorial Chhapaak in which she plays an acid attack survivor. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on January 10 next year.
