Deepika Padukone To Play Ranveer Singh's Reel-life Wife In '83?

Currently, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh officially become wife and husband, and the married couple’s appearances always make the headlines. The lovebirds exchanging the wedding vows in November 2018 are always the admirers' favourite couple not only in real life but also in films too.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have made fans drool with their perfect chemistry in numerous movies such as Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Good news for their fans that they may not have to wait long to see their favourite on-screen couple once again because Deepika Padukone is recently in talks with the makers of ‘83 to play Ranveer's wife in the film.

According to the latest report, Deepika Padukone will act Ranveer’s reel-life wife in the Ranbir Khan directorial, which revolves around the 1983 World Cup. The source also said that the makers approach the actress for the part, and they seem to get a positive reply from her.

If the report is accurate, ‘83 will be the first film that the couple work on together after their wedding. The film's release date has not been confirmed yet; however, it is expected to hit the theatres in 2020.

On the professional front, Ranveer Singh will be seen as Mumbai's street rapper in Gully Boy helmed by Zoya Akhtar. The film, which is based on the real lives of Vivian Fernandes, aka Divine and Naved Shaikh, aka Naezy famous for their song "Mere Gully Mein", will hit the theatres on February 14^th 2019.
