Actor Deepika Padukone has shared a throwback picture of herself on Instagram as she is prepping for her next film titled Chhapaak.

Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is returning to her work hectic schedule after chilling out and spending quality time with her husband Ranveer Singh post their wedding. The actress is gearing up for her upcoming project titled Chhapaak, which mark her first film production venture.

She will also star in the role of an acid attack survivor from Delhi, Laxmi Agarwal. The film will be directed by Meghna Gulzar, who brought venture Raazi last year to join the Rs 100 crore club, and star actor Vikrant Massey.

Laxmi was attacked at the age of 15 and underwent several surgeries. Later, she took up the job of helping acid attack survivors spread the campaigns to stop acid attacks.

Therefore, Deepika has reportedly changed a few different looks to depict truly many painful surgical procedures Laxmi had undergone after a terrible acid attack. Taking to Instagram, she shared an unseen photo which was clicked when she was still a kid, the Padmaavat star captioned, “back to school... #Chhapaak.” As for the pic, she looks as cute as a button! Her post made fans excited to find the hidden connection with her next film.
