Deepika and Ranveer’s love will come in the Bollywood’s books after three movies they acted together and another film in cameo roles. The pair got married on 14 and 15 November in the Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como in Italy.
They have gone through many hits in big boss office and have been guided and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In the movie Ram Leela that they worked in partnership for the first time, many people started to rumour surrounding their relationship. Associated with the next successful films, the rumours spread more widely, and the couple decided to affirm their love affair in a social event on October 21. Director Bhansali has accomplished successfully the movie ‘Guzaarish’ - one of his biggest blockbusters and mounted a huge project with unproven faces. However, Ram Leela has hit the screen and grossed over Rs 200 crore at the box office. Firstly, people said that Bhansali took risks to star Ranveer and Deepika who will act in Ram and Leela’s role to make ‘Ram Leela’ - known as the Indian version of ‘Romeo and Juliet’. It was stated that the director has taken advantages of the two actors’ good relationship to open a social seminar to create more chemistry between them. Therefore, the couple were captured showing love and affectionate for each other in the public.

But not many people know that both Ranveer and Deepika weren’t chosen for their position in the movie at first, while actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and actor Imran Abbas were supposed to be the main characters. However, they cannot shoot because of date arrangement problem, the roles finally belong to Ranveer and Deepika.

The second time that Ranveer and Deepika had the opportunity to be in the same scene was in a comedy directed by Cocktail’s Homi Adajania. However, Ranveer just played in a cameo role as Gabo Eucharista, husband of Fanny - Deepika’s character. And he just appeared in a short moment and died at a wedding party.

Following the success of the film ‘Ram Leela’, couple Deepika and Ranveer have cooperated with director Bhansali for the second time in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ - a more impressive and ambitious project than the first one. Interestingly, like the situation in ‘Ram Leela’, the main characters were assumed to give for other stars, but gossip about their relationship had become an obstacle.

Successfully, the second project of the couple DeepVeer, which told about a great warrior and the girl he loved, won over Rs 350 crore at the box office and a lot of positive comments even more than ‘Ram Leela’.  Ranveer also sent his great compliments on Deepika that he immensely appreciated 2 times working with her and admired her incredible performance. He added that “I trust her immensely, I know that she’s one of the most generous actors”.

The movie ‘Padmaavat’ was initially named ‘Padmavati’, however, it was suffered from a considerable controversy because a Rajput group remonstrated against the film’s description of actress Rani Padmavati. They supposed that the movie has these scenes as the queen (Deepika) would romance Alaudin Khilji (Ranveer).

The entire crew countered to people rumours about such of the scene; however, the situation got worse while the opening day came closer. Right before the release date of the movie was in December 2017, Deepika received many violent threatenings.
Showing up with Deepika at Hindustan Leadership Summit Ranveer shared that he had to try to not respond to the public because everyone besides him worried that it couldn’t make the situation better while he really got angry. Finally, made a big hit and became the greatest performance in their career path, grossed over Rs 500 crore all parts of the world.
