B-town A-list and global icon Priyanka Chopra has finally put her two cents in.

The CAB protests going on have been taking the whole country by storm. Throngs of students from Jamia Milia University in Delhi took to the streets to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act which was passed recently. CAB will pave the way for providing Indian nationality to non-Muslim fleeing persecution in their home countries Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Several parts across the country have witnessed the violent protests since the CAB was approved by the Lok Sabha. This situation has escalated since the bill was also cleared in Rajya Sabha. It then became an Act when President Ram Nath Kovind gave his assent to it.

While most Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone among many others have opted to keep mum on the issue, another B-town A-list and global icon Priyanka Chopra has finally put her two cents in.

Following her sister Parineeti Chopra, The Sky Is Pink star took to her Twitter handle to share her thoughts towards the CAB protests and condemned the use of violence.

Other than Priyanka, many Bollywood actors like Ayushmann Khurana, Alia Bhatt, Rajkummar Rao, Sonakshi Sinha, Konkana Sen Sharma, Swara Bhaskar, Jim Sarbh, Dia Mirza, Ritiesh Deshmukh among others have also raised their voice and expressed their displeasure over this act respectively.

On the work front, PeeCee was last seen in the film The Sky Is Pink which marked her Bollywood comeback. She and husband Nick will host a dance reality show on the theme of sangeet for Amazon Prime. However, the project is yet to be titled and the details will be unveiled later.
