Since the former Miss World catapulting into another tier of fame that even eludes some of Hollywood’s most long-standing veterans of film, she has been surrounded by controversy.

After that, many fans took to social media to express their rage over the smoking-free ambassador. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also has been hugely questioned for hypocrisy.

"It's your life, it's your choice, but why this hypocrisy PC?" a fan wrote.

Earlier, the actress indeed tweeted: "Smoking is awful!! Yuck!!.

In another post, she wrote:

Priyanka Chopra's month-long wedding controversy

Last December, the former beauty queen tied the knot with American singer Nick Jonas in an extravagant fairy-tale wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace. Nevertheless, days after the social media exploded over her wedding fireworks and the actress had to face the wrath of internet trolls.

Part of this controversy stems from the fact that the actress previously asked people to stop using firework:
