Bhumi Pednekar, who began her acting career with “Dum Laga Ke Haisha”, has an interesting lineup of films slated to hit screens in 2019 and 2020. Anurag Kashyap’s “Saand Ki Aankh” sees her in the role of a shooter.

Bhumi Pednekar made her acting debut with Yash Raj Films’ 2015 offering Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Her performance in the film won her rave reviews from various corners. She has proved her acting mettle by delivering endearing performances in such successful films as Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), Shubh Mangal Savdhaan (2017) and Lust Stories (2018). She was most recently seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonchiraiya, which tanked at the box-office.

Leaving the failure of her last film aside, Bhumi Pednekar is now gearing up for the release of her next Saand Ki Aankh. The Anurag Kashyap-produced film sees her in the role of a professional sharpshooter.

The actress recently spoke to media about how she got into the skin of her role and was it difficult for her to play an older character in the film.
