Ayushmann Khurrana Psyched Up About Shooting With Megastar Amitabh Bachchan

Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan have teamed up for the first time for ace filmmaker Shoojit Sircar’s next directorial venture “Gulabo Sitabo”. The slice-of-life film is currently being shot in Lucknow.

Ayushmann Khurrana is currently riding high on the success of his latest film, Article 15. Helmed by Anubhav Sinha, the movie released on 28th June and has been doing phenomenal business ever since. It is now poised to cross the ₹ 50 crore mark soon.
This is indeed a great figure for a film which dealt with a niche topic of casteism and primarily targeted the multiplex audience across the country.
Along with the success of Article 15, Ayushmann Khurrana is also psyched up about shooting with thespian Amitabh Bachchan. Both actors are playing lead roles in renowned filmmaker Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming directorial, Gulabo Sitabo. While Amitabh Bachchan is already shooting for the film in Lucknow, Ayushmann Khurrana joins the megastar today.
The actor, who has been a huge fan of Bachchan, is grateful to Shoojit Sircar for casting him alongside the megastar.
