Ayushmann Khurrana On His Preparation For "Article 15": I Have Spoken To My IPS Friends To Keep It Real

Ayushmann Khurrana has been in the news for his impressive cop avatar since the first poster of the investigative drama Article 15 was released. During a recent interview with DNA India, the 34-year-old star has opened up about his preparation for the film.

Talking about how he has prepared to perfectly get into the skin of an investigating officer, Ayushmann Khurrana said,

Article 15 has garnered a lot of attention from the audience for its thrilling storyline. The title refers to a report of the same name in India’s constitution that bans discrimination based on sex, caste, and religion.

The story centers on the rape and murder of three girls, and Ayushmann Khurrana will be playing the role of an investigating officer who is in charge of the case. Directed by Anubhav Sinha and also featuring Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, M Nassar, Kumud Mishra, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Sayani Gupta, Article 15 is slated to premiere at the opening night of London Indian Film Festival.

On the professional front, apart from Article 15, Ayushmann Khurrana also has several exciting projects in the pipeline. He will reunite with producer-director Aanand L Rai for a gay love story titled Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which is a sequel to the 2017 hit film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

Also, Ayushmann has recently signed up for Ekta Kapoor’s Dream Girl in which he plays the role of a man who can sing in both male and female voices. Plus, he also has Dinesh Vijan’s Bala and Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo in his kitty.
