Ayushmann Khurrana On The Success Of "Article 15": "It Tells Me That I Am On The Right Track"

Ayushmann Khurrana recently talked about the success of his latest release Article 15 as well as the criteria for him when it comes to choosing a film.

Ayushmann Khurrana, with the big success of five hits in a row, has managed to prove himself to be one of the most bankable actors in his generation. During a recent interview, the 34-year-old star talked about the success of his latest release Article 15 as well as the criteria for him when it comes to choosing a film.
Article 15 is now roaring at the domestic box office and the film has collected Rs. 50 crore so far. According to Ayushmann Khurrana, this is a bold and brave movie which aims at starting a social conversation and he is so happy when the film has garnered massive positive reviews from the audiences and critics.
Before Article 15, the 34-year-old star has made a strong impression with his stellar performances in Andhadhun, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Badhai Ho. And now with lots of love for Article 15, Ayushmann said that it increases his “sense of responsibility in giving people better content that stands out”.
Ayushmann has always made wise choices when it comes to picking scripts and mainly focused on movies with meaningful social messages.
He further stated that every time he does a new movie, he has to ensure that when the audiences walk out of the cinema, they will say that they just saw a "good movie".
Also in the interview, Ayushmann showed his gratitude to filmmaker Anubhav Sinha for giving him the opportunity to be a part of his film.
Article 15 follows an investigating officer (played by Ayushmann Khurrana) who is making an effort to uncover the truth behind the rape and murder case of three teenagers. The supporting cast includes Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, M Nassar, Kumud Mishra, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Sayani Gupta.
