The romantic film Zero directed by Aanand L Rai did not receive positive responses from fans as well as critics as expected. Although the performance of stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Kaif as Babita or Anushka Sharma really impressed the audience, the film's storyline became one of the biggest flaws, which led to a failure to take the audience's affection for the film. Contrary to other actors, he is not evasive but to choose to face the truth.
Shah Rukh Khan's films are like his daughter
In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the actor shared that he is devoted to his films and treats them like his daughter. He also said that has all the rights to spend money on his films. “I have succeeded with things that I never knew would succeed. I also feel that if you really are the king, you should have the choice to make your own choices. A king without choices is not a king at all. I am only exercising my choice to do what I like to do. I believe that if I am king, and don’t take chances I will remain one just for namesake.” said Shah Rukh Khan.
The actor added that people spend a lot of money celebrating an extravagant wedding party for their daughter. So why can't he do the same thing for "his daughter"? It's totally worth doing this. He said "Let whatever I am doing for my daughter, be nice, and inshallah, the money will follow.”
The actor-producer said that even when his company tells that he is overdoing things, nobody can prevents him from defending his decisions. Shah Rukh Khan will star as astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic Salute for his upcoming film project. The film is slated to release in February next year.
