Arbaaz Khan Talks About His Decision To Be A Part Of Priya Prakash Varrier’s Controversial Film "Sridevi Bungalow"

Arbaaz Khan, who is set to make a cameo appearance in the movie, claimed that the makers assured him there is no connection between the late actress and the film.

Priya Prakash Varrier’s first film title Sridevi Bungalow has been landed into a big controversy since its trailer hit the internet. Sridevi’s husband, director Boney Kapoor has filed for a legal notice to the makers of the movie for allegedly taking advantages of his wife's unfortunate death.

For those who don’t know, the sudden demise of Bollywood legendary actress Sridevi last year left the whole industry in mourning. As per report, the veteran actress died of accidental drowning in her hotel room’s bathtub in Dubai.

Apart from the title, Boney also opposed a scene in the trailer that showed Priya dying in the similar way that of his late wife. The trailer has provoked the wraths among fans who started slamming it for mocking the tragic death of the actress.

During an interview to Mid Day, Bollywood star Arbaaz Khan, who is set to make a cameo appearance in the movie, claimed that the makers assured him there is no connection between the late actress and the film.

Meanwhile, when asked about the controversy around her upcoming film, Priya Prakash Varrier said, “It’s more of director and producer’s concern because I am portraying the character that is given to me. It wasn’t our agenda to intentionally hurt anyone’s feelings,” she added, “I am also a very big fan of Sridevi madam and though there was no intention to hurt anybody”.
