Anil Kapoor Psyched Up About Teaming Up With Karan Johar For “Takht”

Anil Kapoor is working with Karan Johar for the first time. He is playing an important role in Johar’s much-awaited period drama "Takht".

Anil Kapoor is glad to have signed Takht, a much-awaited period drama also featuring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Janhvi Kapoor.
Anil Kapoor says that he always wanted to work with Karan Johar’s father Yash Johar, but since that collaboration never happened, he is happy to collaborate with KJo.

Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor addressed the media at the launch of author Khalid Mohamed's book titled The Aladia Sisters.

Karan Johar is expected to roll the camera on Takht, which is set in the Mughal era, in early 2020. The period drama revolves around the two warring Mughal princes, Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh.
While Ranveer Singh will be seen in the character of Dara, Vicky Kaushal has been roped in to play Aurangzeb.
