The on-screen couple Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit marked their first reunion after 18 years with yesterday's new release, Total Dhamaal.
Opening up about Madhuri, his long-time co-star, Anil stated, "Would you believe, I've done 18 films with Madhuri." It's their collaboration on such a large quantity of movies, which brings the duo a great mutual understanding in front of the cameras. Anil additionally said:
The flick marking their final collaboration on the widescreen is Rajkumar Santoshi's 2001 Lajja. Presently, it has been 18 years since that cooperation. However, with this reunion, Anil "felt like just yesterday" because of Madhuri's timeless beauty. The veteran actor confided:

In spite of the age of 62, Anil Kapoor still proves himself to be a prolific actor in Bollywood. Before Total Dhamaal, the actor had another release at the beginning of this month, Shelly Chopra Dhar's Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The actor stated.
Apart from Anil and Madhuri, Total Dhamaal also features Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal roles. It is an adventure comedy film, directed by Indra Kumar. Many years back, the trio had another collaboration with 1992 blockbuster, Beta.
