Anil Kapoor Walking Down Memory Lane With Unseen Pics From Dil Dhadakne Do Sets

Anil Kapoor, on Friday, marked the fifth anniversary of his hit film Dil Dhadakne Do, recalled some fond memories by sharing some unseen throwback pictures from the sets. In the photos, the actor can be seen posing at scenic locations with his co-stars.

Sharing the photos, Anil Kapoor captioned them with emotional words,

"The ship full of love, fun, happiness and laughter set sail 5 years ago! A sea full of memories with the best people! #5YearsOfDilDhadakneDo (sic)."

The family-drama directed by Zoya Akhtar that featured Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, and Shefali Shah went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year. Late actor Aamir Khan lent voice over as Pluto - the family dog, and the movie’s narrator.

On this special occasion, Ranveer Singh also took to his Instagram handle to share a throwback selfie from the sets of the film. The Gully Boy actor looks charming in a light bearded look flaunting his adorable dimple with a killer smile donning a white t-shirt. He wrote, "5 years of #DilDhadakneDo," followed by a fluttering heart.

Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do is one of the most important films of the current times. The multi-starrer comedy-drama is about an upper-class Punjabi family that must contemplate their way of living and their love lives. This romantic film is filled with bitter-sweet moments of betrayal, acceptance, and reunion.

Their kids, Ayesha (Priyanka Chopra) and Kabir (Ranveer Singh) have a disconnect with them. While Kabir is seen as the heir to Mehra’s business, Ayesha who actually is business-minded is snubbed for being a girl.
