Amitabh Bachchan Extends His Mourning To Kader Khan's Demise

Amitabh Bachchan wrote a note on Kader Khan’s death, saying the actor-writer was ‘a brilliant stage artist a most compassionate and accomplished talent on film’. Kader Kahn died on December 31 in Canada.

Bollywood stars paid their respects to actor Kader Khan, who died at the age of 81 after suffering prolonged illness for a long time in Canada on December 31. He has been taken to the hospital since Friday due to his breathlessness. However, Khan's son Sarfaraz announced that his father passed away at 6 pm according to Canadian time on the last day of the year. Amitabh Bachchan has led his friends as well as colleagues expressed their mourning to his death on social media.
The actor shared, “Kadar Khan passes away .. sad depressing news .. my prayers and condolences .. a brilliant stage artist a most compassionate and accomplished talent on film .. a writer of eminence; in most of my very successful films .. a delightful company .. and a mathematician !!” as Kader Khan reminded him of a “compassionate and accomplished talent”.
Bachchan had prayed that his colleague would get over soon when he heard the news . “KADER KHAN .. actor writer of immense talent .. lies ill in Hospital .. PRAYERS and DUAS for his well being and recovery .. saw him perform on stage, welcomed him and his prolific writing for my films .. great company, a Libran .. and many not know , taught Mathematics !”, wrote the actor.
The actor's death came as a big shock for his fans. One of his fans shared a status on Twitter "The Most Versatile Personality Of Indian Cinema #KaderKhan Sir Leaves Us Today Saddest News #RIPKaderKhan Sir You Will Be Forever Missed And Thanks For All The Entertainment". Another account wrote "#Actor, Comedian and Dialogue Writer #KaderKhan passes away at 81. Thank you for filling lots of smiles and laughter into our childhood. Legends never die, you’ll always be alive through your work.”.
Sarfaraz also told PTI his dad had left them because of a long-lasting illness. He had been in the hospital for about 16-17 weeks. His family would hold the last rites in Canada solely. On behalf of his entire family, he sent thanks to everyone for blessing and praying for his father.
Kader Khan's breathing illness got worse and the doctor transferred him from regular ventilator to BiPAP ventilator.
As the reports, he suffered from syndrome Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. This disease causes serious problems with balance, walking and eye movements. Kader Khan started his acting career for the first time in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s Daag and starred in more than 300 movies and penned the scripts for over 250 movies. Before being an actor, he also penned for Jawani Diwani, a film by director Randhir Kapoor-Jaya Bachchan.
Khan often worked in collaboration with Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra. Dharam Veer, Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, Coolie, Desh Premee, Suhaag, Parvarish and Amar Akbar Anthony once featured in his film with Desai. His film with Mehra starred Jwalamukhi, Sharaabi, Lawaaris, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar.
