In a season of extravagant Bollywood wedding, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas wedding is the second most googled wedding in the world. Priyanka and Nick were married in accordance with Christian and Hindu rituals, honouring both groom and bride’s diverse cultural background. In respect for tradition, the couple’s nuptial saw a vast number of traditional ensembles.

The fairytale wedding of American musician Nick Jonas, and former Miss World 2000, Priyanka Chopra, was hosted on 1st December at Jodhpur’s Palace. The first wedding ceremony was officiated by Nick Jonas' father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sir. In the next day, the couple took the nuptial vow in Hindu ceremony.

An insider revealed: “It is super important to Priyanka to have an Indian ceremony that celebrates her heritage and culture, just as it’s important to also have a Western ceremony that celebrates Nick’s Christian upbringing. They are doing both.”

For the special day, the couple put their faith in Ralph Lauren’s design. While a custom version of white Ralph Lauren gown was made for the bride, a custom version of Purple Label tuxedo was selected for the groom. Not only the bride and groom, all groomsmen - Nick Jonas’ brother and Priyanka's brother, Siddharth also donned elegant attire by designer Ralph Lauren.

Jonas seemed to be very excited and he actively updated on social media; sharing his brother's image in Indian costume from Mehendi ceremony. It was not exaggerated when Priyanka in an interview with Vogue magazine said that: “People will need vacations after this wedding.”

Reportedly, the duo took 15+ hour flight back to India for their last wedding reception. On the night, the couple was once again showed their regal appearance from the wedding celebration. The best moment was when Priyanka introduced Nick to the guest, said “This has been an extremely special chapter in my life and I wanted my husband to meet all of the special people that have contributed to it. So thank you so much for being here, friends of my parents, my mom, who’s hosting this wonderful evening, my dad, who I know is here. Thank you so much for coming and giving us your blessings and I hope you have a wonderful time tonight, and this is my husband, Nick Jonas.”
