Akshay Kumar's Kesari Collected Approximately Rs 177 Crore Worldwide

The action-war movie Kesari featuring Akshay Kumar is reported to be an unstoppable phenomenon at the box office. The 8th movie in the career of director Anurag Singh has quickly crossed over the Rs 130-crore milestone only after 13 days. Nonetheless, it's hard to say whether if Kesari will reach its ambition of Rs 200 crore or not, acknowledging that there will be more films hitting the box office during these times.

The famous film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has shared the collections of Kesari on his Twitter. He captioned: "#Kesari picks up speed on [third] Sat... Should score again today [Sun]... The journey thereafter - towards ₹ 150 cr - is dependant on how it trends on weekdays and Weekend 4... [Week 3] Fri 1.65 cr, Sat 2.62 cr. Total: ₹ 139.79 cr. India biz."

According to boxofficeindia.com, Kesari has collected more than Rs 30 crore in Delhi and UP region. Previously, Anurag Singh's blockbuster has an impressive opening on March 21, collecting Rs 21.51 crore.

According to the latest source, Kesari has collected approximately Rs 177 crore at the box office worldwide.

Kesari has beaten Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Total Dhamaal starring Ajay Devgn, become the fastest movie reached the Rs 100 crore milestone in 2019. It took Gully Boy 8 days and Total Dhamaal 7 days to collect Rs 100.30 crore and Rs 94.55 crore respectively.

Thanks to the talent of director Anurag Singh, producer Karan Johar, and screenwriter Girish Kohli, Kesari has highly impressed the audiences with gripping, intense moments and unbelievable action sequences.

Also, the movie marked the first collaboration between Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar, whose character was Havildar Ishar Singh, the battle's leader. Kesari also features Vikram Kochhar, Jaspreet Singh, Vivek Saini, Mir Sarwar, and Vansh Bhardwaj in the vital roles.

After Kesari, Akshay Kumar will appear in Jagan Shakti's Mission Mangal (15th August), Raj Mehta's Good News (September), and action comedy directed by Farhad Samji - Housefull 4 (hit the screens in Diwali festival).
