Akshay Kumar Believes Films With Good Message Always Succeed At Box Office

Akshay Kumar has 14 films in his kitty with 100 crore mark at the box office. He plans to increase the mark by three fold.

Actor Akshay Kumar is happy with the success of his recent film Good Newwz also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. With a new twist to this film, two couples are fighting social trauma of not conceiving when they land at an IVF clinic. Akshay Kumar during media interaction appreciated the love received from the audience. He believes the movies which carry a message becomes successful. The movie has said to have eaten a share from Salman Khan's Christmas release Dabangg 2. While box office experts claimed that due to protests in India, the film has failed to collect more revenue.
Good Newzz released amidst festive season and New Year which gave it a lot of traction among the Indian and overseas audience. So far the movie has collected over 100 crore at the Box office. The film promises to fair well during the weekend. An official statement from Vibha Chopra, Head of Global Syndication and International Film Distribution, Zee Entertainment stated that the film has become biggest opener in North America, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Germany.
The statement further read that since the release, Good Newwz is trending on second spot in UAE, third spot in Germany, fourth spot in Germany. The film is doing well in Canada and Australia as well. This makes the film more bigger in terms of collections than Akshay’s previous films like Kesari, Gold, Padman, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Jolly LLB 2 and Rustom
Akshay Kumar was overwhelmed after seeing the huge box office collections and with such a humongous response from his fans. He said that audience not only from India but overseas accepted the film with open hearts. He also said that now he is very confident that with a good message and subject, films will always receive appreciation and success.
