Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Leela Bhansali might collaborate after a huge gap of two years. Yes, you heard it absolutely right! The actor-director duo, who last worked together two decades ago on Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), might reteam for an upcoming period film titled Gangubai Kathiawadi.
The movie stars Alia Bhatt as the female lead. She plays the role of the madam of a Kamathipura brothel in Mumbai during the 1960s.
According to reports, Bhansali is in talks with Ajay Devgn to play one of Gangubai’s gangster lovers who shaped her destiny and heled her cement her position as one of the most powerful and respected madams of the red-light area.
