After One-Year Hiatus, Shah Rukh Khan Will Announce His New Projects On His 54th Birthday

On SRK’s 54th birthday occasion which falls on 2 November, the star will make an announcement on his upcoming film projects. Interestingly, it’s reportedly not one but two new movies in a row.

2018 was said to be a year of film failure of Shah Rukh Khan as the one and only project he attended turned out to be a disaster. His last outing Zero hit the theaters almost one year back. Post the film’s debacle, the superstar hasn’t signed any project as he explained that his heart doesn’t allow him to do so.

However, fans always want to see him on the silver screen again. Any of his posts on social media always got a plethora of questions from netizens asking about his new films.

Now, according to reports published in Mumbai Mirror, on SRK’s 54th birthday occasion which falls on 2 November, the star will make an announcement on his upcoming film projects. Interestingly, it’s reportedly not one but two new movies in a row.

The first project will a Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial film while the second one, king Khan is likely to team up with director S. Shankar.

Rumors had it that SRK is now in talks with the Indian origin English film director for a new project, Gurinder Chadha. If such rumor is confirmed and indeed, the actor says yes to this film, it will hands down his first global outing in his acting career.

For those unversed, recently, during the ASK SRK session he created on Twitter, the actor was quizzed about his upcoming film. To which, the star responded, "Working on stuff. Will take some time once I get the material right."

A time when Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan are occupied with the preparation of their forthcoming projects, SRK seems to be enjoying his break and waiting for more interesting scripts. It’s no secret that his fans are missing him so much and want him to return the big screen one day.
