Abhishek Bachchan To Offer An Explanation Why Amitabh, Aishwarya Served Food At Isha Ambani’s Wedding

The wedding of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal was hands down one of the most lavish affairs by all standards. The tycoon Mukesh Ambani threw an extravaganza for his daughter’s wedding in Udaipur with the biggest names from B-town in presence.

Several videos from the wedding set the Internet on fire. Some show the attendants enjoying food in the silver utensils, indeed served by superstars comprising of the Bachchans (Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai), actors Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Several fans questioned why their idols had to serve food to guests at the celebration, and Abhishek Bachchan has eventually spilled the beans on social media.

The Housefull 3 star tweeted that it was a part of the ritual.

For the uninitiated, actor Abhishek and his family were present at the wedding of Isha Ambani on December 12. Other than his wife and daughter, the actor’s mother Jaya Bachchan, author sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and niece Navya also attended the affair.

Workwise, Abhishek is gearing up to land the lead role in the second India original series ‘Breathe.’ He stated streaming services are now the most ‘buzzing medium’ and indeed the actor was fascinated to be a part of the film.

Abhishek, in an interview with PTI, said “In ‘Breathe,’ one of the things that attracted me the most to the story was the details and nuances that were built into the character I play. This is possible in the streaming medium since the time to engage with the audience is nearly four times that of a conventional feature film.”
