Aayush Sharma & Isabelle Kaif To Head Off To The North-East For “Kwatha”

Aayush Sharma, who made his acting debut with “LoveYatri”, has been paired opposite debutante Isabelle Kaif in the movie. Isabelle is the younger sister of leading Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif.

Aayush Sharma and Isabelle Kaif have started shooting for their upcoming film Kwatha, which was announced by Salman Khan a couple of months ago. While Aayush Sharma made his acting debut with Salman Khan Films’ LoveYatri (2018), Isabelle Kaif is set to begin her career with Kwatha. For the uninitiated, Isabelle is the younger sister of popular Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif. The film is being helmed by Karan Bhutani.

The team started shooting for the film at a Mumbai studio last week where they completed montage scenes. After a short shooting stint in Mumbai, which has been planned for January, the entire cast and crew will fly off to Delhi for a 10-day shoot. From the National capital, the team will head off to the North-East for a 45-day shoot. Producer Aditya Joshi informs that a majority of the shoot will take place in the North-East where the team will film action sequences, apart from some dramatic scenes.

Aayush Sharma is playing an army officer in Kwatha and Isabelle Kaif will be seen in the role of a doctor. However, director Karan Bhutani says, Kwatha is not a war film. It is based on a true incident and also sheds light on the humane side of the Indian Army.

Showering praises on his leading lady, the director says that Isabelle’s formal training in acting reflects in her work. On the set, she knows what is she required to do. He adds that the debutante is always improving.

According to the director, Aayush Sharma trained at an army camp for a few months in Pune to perfect his part in the film. He even gained 12 kg of muscle weight. The actor says that it has been an enlightening experience.
