Sunny Deol Tested Positive With COVID-19 While Recuperating From Major Surgery

Coronavirus doesn’t spare anyone. If you don’t strictly follow the social distancing rules, you are more likely to get infected than those who do. After Amitabh Bachchan and his family, Malaika Arora, and some other Bollywood actors, Sunny Deol is the next movie star who is diagnosed positive with this virus. The Himachal Pradesh health secretary went on record to confirm the news earlier on Tuesday.

The actor has been in the Kullu district recently and now, his travel history is yet to be announced. However, sources have it that the actor and his friends had a plan to head to Mumbai but it seems like it was dropped temporarily because of the test result.

Earlier, on Wednesday morning, Sunny Deol also took to his Twitter handle to confirm the test himself and updated his fans about his current health condition. The actor said that he is being isolated and everything is doing well. Especially, Sunny didn’t forget to request everyone who met and contacted him isolating themselves right away and getting tested.

For those who are unversed, the actor is 64 years old now and he had had major shoulder surgery and was recuperating his health privately at his farmhouse in Kullu district.

After reading the announcement, fans of the senior actor expressed their worry about his health. The wishes for a speedy recovery are being flooded on social media.

Before Sunny Deol, Amitabh Bachchan (78) is also another senior movie star positive with Coronavirus. However, after three weeks of being admitted to the hospital, Big B has been discharged. We hope that Sunny Deol will be the same.
