The final episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi season 9 has left the audiences all stunned with its new winner. Earlier, several reports had been making the rounds that actor-singer Aditya Narayan would be declared as the champion of Khatron Ke Khiladi 9. However, it was choreographer Punit J Pathak who took home the show’s trophy. He also received the prize money of Rs 20 lakh and one brand new Swift car.
After ten weeks of emotional and thrilling moments, the stunt-based reality show hosted by well-known filmmaker Rohit Shetty came to a spectacular end with Punit J Pathak being declared as the winner. Host Rohit Shetty had made one Bollywood style dhamakedaar finale stunt. It was a mix of skill, speed, and height.
With a helicopter, truck and car as one part of this finale stunt, three contestants were all ready to perform the last stunt of this season. In this nerve-wracking stunt, it was Punit’s accuracy and swiftness that helped him defeat Aditya Narayan and Ridhima Pandit who both ended up as the runner-up of the show.
The show also had Bollywood star Akshay Kumar who used to be a host of the reality show. The actor shared his Khatron Ke Khiladi memories while performing a couple of stunts with filmmaker Rohit Shetty and also promoted his forthcoming movie Kesari. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Shankar Mahadevan, Neeti Mohan, and Diljit Dosanjh also joined the show as special guests.
Khatron Ke Khiladi is one of the most adventurous shows on Indian television.
