Other than a strict and disciplined image in public, Mumbai Police is also known for their very quirky social media posts that always leave everyone in splits. Recently, they again made headlines for a video that can’t help but make the netizens go aww.
Mumbai Police’s official Twitter account was seen sharing a video celebrating the birthday for three police dogs. They are a part of the K9 police squad and bear a great responsibility that is to ensure the safety of Mumbai citizens.
The three German Shepherds puppies named Honey, Maya, and Whiskey were sent to the police one year ago and yesterday, 24 June 2020 was their first birthday.
Sharing an adorable clip compiling the best moments of the three with Mumbai police officers during one year, the police department’s account captioned,
"Look who’s turned 1 yesterday! The little puppies gifted to us in August last year by @RAKSHITAMEHTA11 will soon be vigilant sentries to shepherd the safety of Mumbaikars. Please join us in wishing Honey, Maya & Whiskey a very ‘Happy Birthday’ #ShePawer (sic)."

No prize for guessing, the video quickly went viral on social media. A lot of birthday wishes for three one-year-old little dogs are being flooded on Twitter.
Earlier in June, Mumbai police were also in headlines for their sweet gesture as they were filmed running after a train to help migrant workers get on board. As the Shramik train which started from Mumbai to West Bengal took migrant workers working in Mumbai back home. However, a few people seemed not to be on time and were likely to miss the train. However, in the last minutes, with the support from the cops who run after that train and tried to stop it, they could return home.
