Tabu Agrees To Reprise Her Role In Telugu Remake Of “Andhadhun”?

Tabu received overwhelming response for her powerful performance in “Andhadhun”. News has it that the actress has been approached to reprise her role in its Telugu remake as well.

Tabu is one of the finest actresses to have ever graced celluloid. She just becomes the character that she essays on the silver screen. In that case, it is highly impossible for any other actor to get into the shoes of the character that she has already played, be in it any language or industry.

By now, we all know that Tollywood is gearing up to produce the official remake of superhit Bollywood film Andhadhun (2018), which starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in important role. Telugu actor Nithiin has come onboard to play the lead actor in the movie. He steps into the shoes of Ayushmann Khurrana.

After the official announcement of the project a couple of days ago, there has been much speculation about who will play the role that Tabu made memorable with her performance in the original film. If sources are to be believed, Tabu herself will be reprising her character in the Telugu remake.

A source close to the project informs a publication that when Telugu film producers bought the remake rights of Andhadhun, they asked Tabu to act in the Telugu version too, and she had shown interest in doing so.

The makers are planning to being production only in August or September, so they have not made any official announcement about the rest of the cast and crew. The names of Anasuya Bhardwaj and a few others are doing the rounds as possibilities for this role, but the makers clearly want to go with Tabu. The Telugu remake of Andhadhun will be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi.

Meanwhile, Tabu is in news for her cameo in the upcoming Bollywood horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in lead roles.
