Shalini Pandey was born on September 23, 1993, in Madhya Pradesh but some tabloids, on the other hand, said that 1994 is her year birth instead. Her star sign is Virgo and for those who are unversed, the personality traits of Virgos are practical, logical, and systematic in the way they approach life. She finished her schooling at Christ Church Girls Higher Secondary School in Jabalpur. She later pursued higher education, major in B.Tech, in Global Engineering College in Jabalpur.

Her mother is a professional Carnatic singer while her father’s job is a government employee in Madhya Pradesh. She also has a sibling and her name is Pooja Pandey.

Career

Fortunately, thanks to her natural acting skill, Shalini Pandey started her career with a bang. In the year 2017, she made her debut in the Telugu-language film Arjun Reddy which soon turned out to be a super hit. Arjun Reddy is termed one of the most successful films of the Indian cine industry. In 2019, Bollywood filmmaker Sandeep Vanga decided to make a remake of the film titled Kabir Singh. Yes, of course, no need for much introduction, Kabir Singh is a blockbuster and made it to the top of highest-grossing films of the year. However, many critics still said that Kabir Singh could be a hit but it’s still a terrible remake of Arjun Reddy.

Her performance was appreciated by both the audiences and the critics and it has become a stepping stone to boost her popularity in Tollywood.

She then starred in Sony TV series including Crime Patrol and Man Mein Hai Vishwas. Not just this she later had several projects respectively lined up in her kitty. She has appeared in many Telugu movies like Mahanati in 2018, 118 in 2019 an Iddari Lokam Okate in 2020. One year after her debut, she continued to enter the Tamil film industry with the film Nadigayar Thilagam and went to star in other films like Gorilla and 100% Kadhal.

It goes without saying that she was to be an actress. Shalini Pandey is also all set to make her debut in Bollywood in the film Jayeshbhai Jordaar opposite the household name Ranveer Singh.

Achievements

In 2017 she got her very first award, Best Debut Actress for Arjun Reddy, at the Zee Golden Awards show. One year later, she continued to add another feather to her cap with an Apsara Awards – Best Find of The Year for Arjun Reddy.
