Raai Laxmi is one of the most sought-after actresses in the South Indian film industry. She began her acting career almost 15 years ago and has acted in more than 50 films in multiple languages. The actress has proved her acting mettle in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada cinema and has also appeared in a few Bollywood movies.
On 5th May, Raai Laxmi celebrated her 31st birthday and wishes have still been pouring in for her from various corners. Her social media is flooded with wishes from friends and fans both. Since the entire country is currently under the Coronavirus lockdown, the actress had to spend her special day at home. But she did make a point to let her fans know how she rang in 31st birthday amid lockdown.
Rai Laxmi posted a collage of special videos shared by her friends, which sees her celebrating the previous year and is followed by their wishes for her. Sharing the 2-minute-25-seconds long video, she wrote that it made her lockdown birthday so special and memorable. She added that she is blessed to have wonderful friends and thanked all her friends and fans.
On the work front, Rai Laxmi will next be seen in Tamil horror thriller fantasy film Cinderella. Recently, the makers dropped the first-look of the film, which garnered good traction on social media. In the poster, the actress can be seen in a completely de-glam avatar. Laxmi plays the character of a girl named Tulsi in Cinderella, which marks the directorial debut of Vinoo Venkatesh.
Aside from Cinderella, Raai Laxmi also has director Karri Balaji’s Telugu film Anandha Bhairavi and a Tamil film called Miruga on her platter right now. Her Kannada film Jhansi is currently at post-production stage and may release after the lockdown is lifted.
