First Trans Women Contestant Of "Bigg Boss Telugu" Tamanna Simhadri Enters In The House

The first transgender woman to be part of Star Maa’s reality show Bigg Boss Telugu is Social activist Tamanna Simhadri. Tamanna entered in Bigg Boss and surprised the housemates and audience.

When asked about her entry in the Bigg Boss House, she said, “I feel very happy. I should say this was my dream as I kept wondering what I would do had I been there inside the (Bigg Boss) house. I feel lucky to have got this opportunity to enter the show during the third season of Bigg Boss Telugu,” she told Bigg Boss Telugu 3 host Nagarjuna.

When asked what would be her strategy to survive on the show, Tamanna Simhadri said she had none. “Even if one has plans, it might change due to circumstances. So, I don’t have any plans as such. I will react based on how others react to a situation,” she said.

Tamanna Simhadri is a former model and politician from Andhra Pradesh. She is a big supporter of Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party which was established in 2014. She is also a social activist who founded the Triveni social service organization to support women and Transgender.

Simhadri is the first transgender women who participated in assembly election of Andhra Pradesh. After seat refinement from Jana Sena She contests as an individual candidate of Mangalagiri assembly constituency 2019. It is one of the 175 constituencies of Andhra Pradesh. Finally, she lost the election.

Tamanna Simhadri was born in 1985. She has completed her schoolings from home. Later she did her PUC which is equivalent to Intermediate in Andhra University and her degree in Bachelor Of Computer Applications from Indira Gandhi Open University.

Tamanna Simhadri won the pageant show title "Miss Transgender Mumbai" in 2010. We should applaud the makers of Bigg Boss show for a taking a matured decision to send her to the house. It will be interesting to see how she will be received by the housemates and how she will behave in the house.
