Dhanush To Topline Karthik Naren’s Untitled Next

Dhanush is one such talented actor who has always startled the audience with his choices of films and acting prowess. In addition to the Tamil film industry, the actor has also won accolades in Bollywood for doing such films as Shamitabh (2015) and Raanjhanaa (2013). He was lauded for his fine performance in both the films which helped him expand his fandom to the Hindi belt.

Dhanush was recently seen in Durai Senthilkumar’s Pattas (2020) which did decent business at the box office. He is currently shooting for Karthil Subbaraj’s next directorial venture, titled D-40 and Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj. The latest news has it that Dhanush will be next seen in Karthick Naren’s directorial outing.

Currently titled D-43, the film has music by GV Prakash. Sathya Jothi Films will be bankrolling the project. Karthick Naren took to social media and shared his excitement regarding the film. He posted that he is extremely happy to join hands with Dhanush and Sathya Jyothi Films for D43. He added that he is really kicked about this one. The director was all excited to share the news with everyone.

Naren is currently working on many projects. His next film Mafia will see Arjun Vijay playing the lead role. Prasanna plays the antagonist and Priya Bhavani Shankar is the female lead. The film is produced by Lyca Productions.

On the other hand, Dhanush is also returning to Bollywood after a long gap. He has signed filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s next film Atrangi Re. The movie reunites the actor with the filmmaker after a long gap of seven years. They last worked together on the 2013 superhit film Raanjhanaa which marked Dhanush’s debut in Bollywood. Atrangi Re also features superstar Akshay Kumar and newcomer Sara Ali Khan in important roles. The film releases next year in February.
