The Ajay Bahl directorial Section 375 featuring Akshaye Khanna, Rahul Bhat, Meera Chopra, and Richa Chadha shared the same release date with Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl.

Although the movie garnered many good reviews from critics, it kicked off with a slow note and only earned Rs 1.45 crore on its first day. However, thanks to a positive word of mouth, the court drama saw a slight increase in the following days and managed to collect Rs 8.04 crore in the opening weekend.

According to some reports, Section 375's opening weekend earnings are much lesser than Dream Girl and Chhichhore with the total collection of Rs 12.49 crore on its first week.

Talking about Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore, the film is enjoying its successful run at the ticket window.

Chhichhore collected a total of Rs 109.30 after two weeks of screening and has now become Sushant’s highest-grossing film. With these figures, it is easy for the film to surpass the lifetime total of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
