John Abraham In Talks To Headline “Vedalam” Remake

John Abraham currently has his hands full with several high-profile projects. The latest we hear that the Satyamev Jayate star is considering a new project which is an official remake of South Indian film Vedalam.

John Abraham is currently one of the busiest actors in Bollywood. Last seen in Romeo Akbar Walter (2019), the actor has several high-profile projects which are lined up for release in 2019 and 2020. Apart from playing the male lead in all of his upcoming films, John is also producing some of them under the banner of JA Entertainment.

The latest we hear that the handsome hunk is in talks for yet another exciting project. According to reports, producer Bhushan Kumar has acquired the rights of Tamil film Vedalam (2015) to remake it in Hindi and John Abraham has been approached to play the male lead. The original film starred Ajith Kumar in the lead role.

A source close to the development reveals to an Indian daily that John Abraham has given his verbal nod to the film and is expected to sign the project on the dotted line soon.

The source goes on to add,

Meanwhile, John Abraham will next be seen in the Nikkhil Advani-directed much-awaited film, Batla House. The movie is set to hit screens on 15th August. His next release will be Anees Bazmee’s comic-caper, Pagalpanti. Satyamev Jayate 2 is expected to roll towards the end of the year.
