The causing the unexpected death of Verne Troyer has been officially announced by a coroner in Los Angeles. It was alcohol intoxication suicide.

The reason behind the unexpected death of Verne Troyer has been officially announced by a coroner in Los Angeles. It was due to alcohol intoxication suicide. On April 21, 2018, the film industry had to farewell Verne Troyer at the age of 49. At that time, he was a talented actor, comedian, and stunt performer well known by the series Austin Powers.
On April 3rd, he was hospitalized to one hospital in L.A with the blood alcohol level more than triple the 0.8 limits which is a fatal level for a normal person. Furthermore, this was extremely dangerous for achondroplasia dwarfism like him. During his time in the hospital, he continuously begged to die. 18 days later, the actor drew his last breath.
“Based on the history and circumstances as currently known, the manner of death is suicide,” according to Deputy Medical Examiner Martina Kennedy.
When calling the medical staff to his house, Troyer continuously repeated that he had the wish to die. After the hospitalization, what happened on his head was only the coming of the death. Last year, Troyer had to go to the certain hospital in the same condition.
Troyer's representative affirmed that the actor was suffering from depression and the death would be the simplest way to relieve his hurt. Earlier, after the hospitalization, he frankly shared about his alcoholism.
“As you know, I’ve struggled alcohol addiction in the past and while it’s not always been an easy fight, I’m willing to continue my fight day by day,” he shared to People magazine.
Also, after farewell Troyer, his family publicized his mental health problems, revealed his harsh battle with alcohol addiction.
During his acting career, Verne Troyer has a great contribution to the film industry. Verne Troyer was a son in the middle-class family in Sturgis, Michigan. He graduated from Centreville High School in 1987. Though born with the abnormal body like his two siblings, Troyer always proud that his parents treat him as equal to the others. He joins hand in household chores such as carrying wood, feed the farm animals, etc.
Troyer's acting career started with the character "Baby Bink" in Baby's Day Out (1994). The great success came to him with the character Mini-Me in the Austin Powers series film. In this series, Troyer cooperated with the director Jay Roach to adjust the script and the characteristic of the lead role.
The audiences met Troyer again in Goldmember in 2002 and in 2008 with The Love Guru. After that, he had great success in portraying the goblin Griphook in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001).
