Glitz and glamour took over the 2019 Oscars, but there was one colour that ruled the red carpet.

2019 Oscars red carpet has quickly turned into a sea of pink-like an ultra-feminine, ruffled, very pretty mind-meld that happened to Hollywood's elite. A giant pink dress would hardly be described as practical, but it can bring some possible benefits for a celebrity, especially from this year the Oscars red carpet. From bold, bright fuchsia to paler shades of blush and almost-nude, the color reigned supreme over the evening's fashion choices.

Japanese decluttering expert and star of Netflix's reality show Marie Kondo sparked joy in a pretty full-length pink v-neck lace dress, adorned with chocolate and white sequined flowers, sporting a small train, and topped with short ruched sleeves.

Meagan Good opted for a lilac one-shouldered gown that featured a sheer lace paneled from the top to midriff, complete with a full design with thigh split and long train.

Longtime couple Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa honoured the late Karl Lagerfeld through their fashion at the 2019 Oscars.

The Black Panther queen Angela Bassett stepped out in a custom, one-shoulder vibrant pink Reem Acra gown.

KiKi Layne is in pastel pink custom Versace with a giant ruffle and cutout in the back.

Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph added a floral print to her traditionally feminine base tone.
