In David Letterman's upcoming show, American superstars and TV host Ellen Degeneres going to open up about her painful childhood.

In David Letterman's Netflix show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction latest episode, famous American comedian and TV host Ellen DeGeneres recalled her painful childhood being sexually assaulted when she was still a teenager by her stepfather.

The episode which is slated to hit the screen on Friday is the story of the world-famous star Ellen DeGeneres when she still at teenage age, however, being mistreated at the hand of her stepfather, CNN reports. The incident started after Ellen DeGeneres's mother began to fight breast cancer.

This was not the first time the star opens up about her life to the eyes of the public. She first time uncover the bitter truth in an interaction with media in 2005.

At that moment, Ellen decided to keep silent for the sake of her mother since she always wants to protect her. Nevertheless, when she finally found the courage to speak up, her mother didn't even believe her story and chose to stay by her husband side instead of her.
