Recently, rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West broke the headlines as he suddenly becomes the richest Black man in the US, according to a report published in Bloomberg. His net worth is reportedly $6.6 billion. After the news was out, Forbes quickly did a recalculation to check the accuracy of that number. Surprisingly, the business magazine confirmed that his worth is actually $1.8 billion only.

Kanye West's net worth was initially estimated at $6.6 billion according to Bloomberg.

Report from Complex had it that the combined value of Yeezy and Yeezy Gap was at around $4.7 billion. Adding to other assets of West has, the rapper’s net worth is estimated at $6.6 billion.

It made him become the US's richest Black person.

The new report from Forbes

An article by Forbes stated that the calculations of Bloomberg were theoretical ones. That’s why the initial number about Kanye’s net worth was disputed.

Instead of $6.6 billion, $1.8 billion was the figure determined by Forbes.

However, Forbes disputed that figure

Earlier, Kanye West launched brand-new Yeezy shoes which sold out within a short span of time. The retail value of the shoes is $200.
