Inspired by the life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, the film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and also features Vikrant Massey in the lead role. Deepika has recently left for the United Kingdom to start shooting for 83 in which she will be playing Kapil Dev's wife, Romi.

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif has garnered a lot of praise and admiration for her role in Bharat. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is a remake of a Korean movie named An Ode To My Father which depicts the history of India through the life of Salman Khan’s character from the age of 18 to 70.

After Bharat, Katrina Kaif will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's cop film Sooryavanshi alongside Akshay Kumar, which is slated to release in 2020.
