Taapsee Pannu: "I Want To Be An Indian Superhero In The Avengers"

On Sunday, Taapsee Pannu shared that she aspires to portray an Indian superhero in the famed Avengers franchise of MCU. She said to be "personally attached" to the Marvel Studio’s movies and very much hopes to have a chance to portray a superhero on-screen.

At the 10th Jagran Film Festival, Taapsee detailed in the in-conversation session with famous movie critic Rajeev Masand,

The Badla actress unveiled she is besotted for Iron-Man, who is portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.. As Masand referred that this character deceased in the Avengers: Endgame film of Marvel Cinematic Universe, Taapsee shared,

On being asked whether there was any project the actress wishes to be part of, she answered that she would have loved to be able to play in Article 15, in the role of Ayushmann Khurrana. Article 15 is helmed by Anubhav Sinha who is also the director of Taapsee’s earlier film Mulk.

, Taapsee Pannu said, and the audience gave her an applause.

She joked,

An audience asked if the actress felt that Judwaa 2 movie was bound to make a big hit, she replied that she "knew it will cross Rs 100 crore mark".

Also, she said she owed it to the film for her becoming the "unconventional mainstream cinema" face.

Taapsee Pannu is again collaborating with director Anubhav Sinha in a new movie which still hasn’t had an official title yet. The actress is renowned for her powerful acting in movies and she shared that the moviemaker said in this movie, he would carry away the "firebrand image that you have".

Other projects of the actress to go on floors this year are Saand Ki Aankh and Mission Mangal. Taapsee is also preparing for a Tamil action thriller.
