As reported, actor Ranveer Singh has signed on to depict the titular role of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new film "Baiju Bawra".

During the Diwali festival, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has brought great news to fans as to the announcement of making the Baiju Bawra movie. The seasoned filmmaker had earlier thrilled everybody as he revealed making Gangubai Kathiawadi that features Alia Bhatt as the main role.

As reported by a source, actor Ranveer Singh has signed on to depict the film’s titular role. The Paadmavat star has earlier shaken hands with director Bhansali in several films namely, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram - Leela and Bajirao Mastani. Also according to the above report, the Tansen character has been proposed to actor Ajay Devgn. However, he has later turned the role down.
