Through the song and trailer which already released, it’s not hard to realize that it won’t be an out-and-out commercial film but targets mainly to multiplexes and metropolises only.

While September witnessed a disappointing last week with some box office flops, October kicked-started with a hit as Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer War has soon turned out to be a blockbuster.

For the record, the mega-budget action film has grossed Rs 180 crore and this figure shows no sign of declining. It’s even predicted to enter the coveted Rs 200 crore club soon.

While the film is going strong at its theatrical run, this Friday another hotly anticipated film The Sky Is Pink starring Priyanka Chopra will hit the screens.

It has been three years since the last Bollywood film of Priyanka Chopra, so the comeback of the desi girl in TSIP will be a very special treat for her fans. However, through the song and trailer which already released, it’s not hard to realize that it won’t be an out-and-out commercial film but targets mainly to multiplexes and metropolises only.

No prize for guessing, the film will clash with War and Hollywood global hit Joker. The opening collection of The Sky Is Pink is estimated to come at around Rs 3 to 4 crore.

The fact that PeeCee and the star cast has a good promotion campaign which has successfully generated quite a buzz around it.

For those unversed, Not just because of the appearance of Priyanka itself, but also the major controversies raging over the decision to quit Bollywood of actress Zaira Wasim make the film grabbing eyeballs.

When Zaira went on record to announce she was quitting the industry and said it interferes with her religion, she outright cooked up a storm on social media.

Helmed by Shonali Bose, The Sky Is Pink is set to hit the screens on 11 October 2019. Stay tuned for the review from the STARBIZ team!
