Tycoon Mukesh Ambani is throwing a pre-wedding party lasting three days for his son Akash and Shloka Mehta in Switzerland. Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Vidya Balan among a host of Bollywood stars were seen leaving Mumbai on Sunday to partake in the festivities.
Rare photos from Switzerland emerging online on Monday show couple Alia and Ranbir striking a pose with soon-to-be-married couple Shloka and Akash. In other pictures, the couple seems to have a whale of a time while being there.
For the record, roughly 300 guests have landed in St. Moritz to attend the pre-wedding party.
According to a report published in A Mid Day, internationally-acclaimed pop rock band Maroon 5 is gearing up to have a performance at the party.
The report also revealed that Maroon 5 typically charges around $1 million to $1.5 million for a private show and hence, needless to say, the party is hands down a relatively expensive affair.
Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta will walk down the aisle on 9 March at Jio World Centre. The wedding celebration is about to be followed by another wedding reception taking place on 11 March.
