"Gully Boy" Done, Ranveer Singh And Deepika Padukone Spend Time With Their Mothers

As Ranveer Singh flew with his mother to Dubai, Deepika Padukone joined her mother in Mumbai. The latter was spotted on an outing in the city with Ujjala Paduone.

The lovebirds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone enjoyed the precious time with their respective mothers in the last weekend. The Gully Boy star jetted off to Dubai with his mother Anju Bhavnani while the Padmavaat actress spent quality time with mother Ujjala Padukone. The mother and daughter were spotted to go shopping in Mumbai. Opting for casual clothes with loose denim and grey sweatshirt, Deepika smiled brightly towards the paparazzi.
Ranveer and mother were snapped at the Mumbai airport. His latest film Gully Boy was released last week and garnered positive responses from the critics and audience. It has been a big hit at the box office, earning Rs 50 crore in three days.
The newlyweds had celebrated their first Valentine's Day as a married couple post marriage. They cheered Deepika's father as Prakash Padukone was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at an award show honouring legends in the world of sports.
Deepika also attended a special screening of Gully Boy before the film’s release. As Gully Boy released on Thursday morning (Valentine's Day), photos of Deepika and Ranveer, hugging and kissing on their way back from Gully Boy screening, sent the Internet into a tizzy.
Deepika has begun work on her debut production venture, Chhapaak. She will play an acid attack survivor in the film, directed by Meghna Gulzar of Raazi fame. The film is based on the life of survivor Laxmi Agarwal and also stars actor Vikrant Massey.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will start working on her next project Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar. This film will be her first venture as a producer. Meanwhile, Ranveer will be seen on ’83, the film based on the Indian cricket team’s first World Cup victory in 1983.
