Deepika Padukone Must Be Pleasantly Surprised On Receiving A Heartwarming Present From An Acid Attack Survivor

Acid attack survivor Manisha Marodia Prajapati also wished Deepika Padukone and the team of "Chhapaak" luck and hoped that the film was a success.

An acid attack survivor named Manisha Marodia Prajapati has drawn a special sketch for as a gift to Deepika Padukone, who will play in Chhapaak, a Meghna Gulzar's film based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The sketch features the actress in her first look from the release of Chhapaak.

On her post, Manisha mentioned that she isn’t good at colour sketching, but she tried her best and hoped the entire team of Chhapaak would like her sketch. She wished the team and expected that the film would rock the stage. Compliments have been pouring in for Manisha's amazing work of art. Fans and fan clubs have been tagging Deepika, hoping that she takes note of the beautiful sketch.

In an interview at the Facebook office, Deepika revealed that she was not "emotionally ready" to take on. However, when Meghna Gulzar came to her with the script of Chhapaak, Deepika was moved by the story, and she decided to turn producer for the film.
For the first time, Deepika would be sharing screens with Vikrant Massey, who last appeared in the films like Half Girlfriend, Lipstick Under My Burkha, Dil Dhadakne Do.  The reports reveal that Vikrant will depict the role of Laxmi Agarwal’s husband’s role in the film.
