Arjun Kapoor And Shraddha Kapoor Celebrate 2 Years Of "Half Girlfriend" With Special Posts

The romantic drama Half Girlfriend starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor clocked 2 years today. On this special occasion, both Arjun and Shraddha took to their social media handles to share special posts about their film.

Arjun Kapoor celebrated the special day by posting the film’s soundtrack Baarish along with several videos from the flick and captioned, “Half Girlfriend will always be close to my heart”.

In another post, Shraddha Kapoor expressed her love for Half Girlfriend by sharing a collage of different scenes from the movie.

Talking about Half Girlfriend, Arjun and Shraddha’s sizzling chemistry along with their brilliant performances won the hearts of millions of fans. The film, which was based upon the novel of the same name by Chetan Bhagat and directed by Mohit Suri, is a coming-of-age romance between a man hailing from Bihar, and a woman belonging to the upper-class of Delhi. They have nothing in common, but love blossoms in an unexpected way. It also featured Seema Biswas and Vikrant Massey in significant roles.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Arjun Kapoor is currently busy promoting his next release titled India’s Most Wanted. Besides, he is working on his forthcoming movie Panipat, which is based upon the Third Battle of Panipat, between the Marathas led by Sadashiv Rao Bhau and the invading Afghans led by Ahmad Shah Abdali. Directed by National Award winner and Oscar-nominated director Ashutosh Gowariker, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon and is slated to hit the cinema on 6 December 2019.

On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor has some interesting projects in the pipeline. She is gearing up for her upcoming film Street Dance 3D opposite Varun Dhawan, which is the third installment of Remo D’Souza’s hit ABCD franchise. She also has rom-com Chhichhore and action movie Saaho in her kitty.
