Ajay Devgn Starrer Syed Abdul Rahim Biopic To Be Shot In A Stretch Of 125 Days

The yet-to-be-titled movie is being helmed by director Amit Sharma, who shot to fame after the riotous success of his last directorial venture “Badhaai Ho”. Boney Kapoor is bankrolling the biopic.

Ajay Devgn is always occupied with one film or the other. He has just finished shooting for his most ambitious home production Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and will move on to shoot his next soon. Ajay Devgn next toplines a biopic based on the life of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.

Director Amit Sharma, who shot to fame after the humongous success of his last directorial venture Badhaai Ho (2018), is calling the shots for the untitled flick, while Boney Kapoor is producing it.

Shooting two biopics back-to-back must be quite challenging for Ajay Devgn. Talking about the same, an industry source opines,

The source goes on to add further that the makers are looking at wrapping up the entire movie in a start-to-finish schedule of 125 days. Besides India, the biopic will be shot at some foreign locations also.

Incidentally, Ajay Devgn is playing another real-life hero at the moment. In his upcoming patriotic drama Bhuj: The Pride of India, the superstar will be seen stepping into the shoes of IAF officer Vijay Karnik.

Produced by T-Series, the film also stars Sonakshi Sinha in an important role. After wrapping up his ongoing projects, Devgn will team up with well-known director Neeraj Pandey for a film where the former plays great philosopher and scholar Chanakya.
