Ajay Devgn Starrer Syed Abdul Rahim Biopic Set To Begin Production

Superstar Ajay Devgn, who is presently busy shooting for “Bhuj: The Pride of India”, has joined forces with filmmaker Amit Sharma of “Badhaai Ho” fame. The biopic is being produced by Boney Kapoor.

Ajay Devgn is a workaholic! He is always busy shooting for one film or another. Currently, he is shooting for T-Series Films’ Bhuj: The Pride of India. After wrapping up the film in a few days from now, Ajay Devgn will start filming his next, an untitled biopic based on the life of football coach Sayed Abdul Rahim.

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor is bankrolling the project, while Badhaai Ho (2018) director Amit Sharma will direct it.

Confirming the development, Sharma tells an Indian daily that his team is set to begin the first shooting schedule of the film in a few days from now.

Adding further, Amit Sharma says,

Sharma says that he feels validated after winning the National Award for his film Badhaai Ho.

Besides this untitled biopic and Bhuj: The Pride of India, Ajay Devgn will also be seen in his home production Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Also starring Saif Ali Khan and Kajol, the historical drama rolls into theatres on 10th January 2020.
